Understanding Our License

Snekbooru distributes compiled binaries under the S-NRCS-1.0 License to maintain a closed-source codebase. This means:

• You can: Use, modify, and distribute the compiled software, provide services related to the app and it's content
• You cannot: Access or redistribute the source code, resell the app in it's original or tampered form, or any services related to the app and it's content
• License applies to: The distributed executable and documentation
• Source code: Remains proprietary and closed

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy
of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal
in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights

You may not sell, rent, lease, license for a fee, or otherwise commercialize
the Software or any Derivative Works as a product. This includes selling
copies, paid downloads, paid license keys, or bundling the Software as part
of a product where access to the Software is conditioned on payment.

You may redistribute the Software and Derivative Works, in binary
form, provided that redistribution is free of charge and you include this
license text and the copyright notice in all copies.

3. Attribution
You must keep the copyright notice intact in the Software and Derivative

This project is source closed but licensed under the S-NRCS-1.0 License for compiled distributions. The source code is not publicly available for modification or redistribution.
